Jadon Sancho has returned to Manchester United following the conclusion of his loan spell at Chelsea. The winger featured in 41 official matches for the London side, scoring five goals and delivering nine assists. Despite having the option to sign him permanently for €30 million, Chelsea ultimately chose not to proceed with a full transfer.

Reports suggest the deal fell through due to disagreements over personal terms, particularly regarding Sancho’s salary, which led Chelsea to pay United €6 million in compensation.
In an official statement, Chelsea acknowledged his departure and highlighted his goal in the Conference League final against Real Betis.
Sancho, who will not take part in the Club World Cup with Chelsea, now enters the final year of his contract with Manchester United.
